thks guys for the replies

has been a steep learning curve for me since owning the disco and couldn’t have done it without the great help i’ve got from here Thumbs Up

does indeed drop below 15 vdc on longer journeys

along with replies and reading robs fantastic write up, ref residual drainage test i will now be able to go through the system and test it

just wished to ensure everything was working perfectly before i fitted a split charge T max system

If you see 16V then that is when you need to worry.

I think 15V means the battery is being charged alot and once at a reasonable capacity will drop to 14V.

14V isn't bad, it may just mean the battery is in a good state of charge.

bless u for the great info Thumbs Up

has been a steep learning curve for me and how the more modern land rovers differ from the earlier models , is good to now know what the revelant alternator outputs should be

prefer this version, seeing it also has the temp output reading , will be interesting to see how effective the A/C is when the summer returns
