Battery flat and emergency key will only turn 45'

Mine only turns through 45 degrees should it be more?

About 90 dogs to turn the lock. Might need some spray grease in there, prob via spraying on the key. Thumbs Up

Try gentle pressure the other way (i.e. to lock) alternately with similar gentle pressure to open. Leaning on the door at the same time may also help.

Thanks for ideas,I think I have nearly exhausted all of them the key only goes one way approx 45 degrees,should it turn both ways?

Not so much that you are trying to actually turn it the other way but to push internals in the opposite direction to help with a space for lubricant to penetrate, and also the Sods' Law thing about it releasing once you tighten before loosening.
