Battery flat and emergency key will only turn 45'

As title battery is flat and emergency key only turns about an eighth of a turn it's been well lubricated but still no joy,Called the AA and as suggested he is removing the undertrays to see if he can get power into the system possibly via this starter motor, any better suggestions please.

Stick 12v back into the towing electrics permanent live from a spare battery, another vehicle, or even two handlamp batteries in series and you will be able to unlock.

Easiest way is through the towing leckies (assuming you have it), just power up & pop the locks. Thumbs Up

I like the starter motor as you can get lots and lots of current into the system.

Well all up and running, just one small problem a red warning triangle with an explanation mark lit up at the top of the instrument pod,I wonder if a hard reset would get rid of it? I only have a very basic 11D tool so not sure if that will tell me anything!

Would I be right in thinking that the emergency key will only unlock the car if it still has enough power in the battery to work the central locking?

No. That lock will manually unlock the passenger door only. You can then gain access to the bonnet release. Thumbs Up
