Battery light
Hi
I went through a deep puddle the other morning and the battery light came on and stayed on, I was a 25 miles from home so I decided to head back. My dash light up like a Christmas tree and all the error messages you can think of appeared with constant tune of bings an bongs, I made it within 200 yards of home and everything died.
' HELP PLEASE' where do I start.

Dead alternator and now dead battery. Break open your wallet and think “It’s only money and if I don’t spend it Corbyn will spend it for me.”

Thanks DSL / Disco_Mickey
I've got a icarsoft code reader, do you think I could clear all the codes with it.

Battery has been disconnected since it was recovered to home.
Before posting, I've haven't had time to look at it, as I work 4/12 hr shifts.
I will be ordering a new battery & alternator from Advanced Factors on Friday.
Thanks all, for your help & advice

All done👍
New alternator, battery and auxiliary belt, thanks to Steve at Advanced Factors, great service . Charging at 14.2 volts, red battery light out and dash back to normal without any error codes. A mere getting the Viscous fan off, longest part of the job.
D3's really don't like low voltage.
Thanks again for good advice and guidance.
Paul
