Battery voltage display in dash?

On first start up after having the battery disconnected for four days while changing the cam belts the battery voltage (14.6volts) was displayed on the dash for several seconds and then the normal display, this only happened once never since, is it possible to have this displayed after every start up?- why should it just happen the once.

Did you have an IID tool plugged in?

No, Iid tool not used for weeks probably months, engine started, voltage was displayed in largish letters on dash screen for about 10 seconds nothing else then normal screen came up, I thought it was brilliant but disappointingly has not appeared again.
