Best Leisure Battery

Getting around to fitting my Traxide split charge and wondered what is the best leisure battery to put into the spare compartment.

Odyssey(What model number) or Optima Yellow top?

Don't need new starter battery as new one fitted just before I got the vehicle last week by the dealer.

The Optima YellowTop gel battery D34 battery copes with all the normal voltages that the d3 alternator will put out. It also fits exactly into the aux battery space in a D3.

They cost around £175 each available on eblag or other outlets....... Bodsys Brake Bible

Aha! Not a coincidence it's call the D34 then. Was looking at the Odyssey batteries but they are longer, so I guess won't fit in the 2nd battery tray Confused I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Apparently you can with a small ammount of grinding of some plastic (not sure if that is of the battery or the tray it sits in. ) Bodsys Brake Bible
