Decided to try and swat my troublesome 05 SE for new HSE hoping later build will have fewer problems!!

Best price for HSE
I paid £40k for mine, sourced from my local dealer, T H White in Wooton Basset. The cheapest I was offered was £39,200 but I thought it was worth paying £800 extra (yes, I know it's crazy) to buy locally in case things go wrong later!

Less than any prices stated above, from T.H.White. However, must stress that I was very flexible, prepared to wait until the end of the quarter & also prepared to accept that the deal might not be possible. No trade in either. I set out the deal I wanted in early Jan. & took delivery early April (vehicle was registered end of March).
I should also add, that I pitched another dealer with the same deal & they just laughed! T.H.White were superb & realistic about moving stock.
If you just want to go & buy one ASAP £39-40k seems average.
my dealer has a java HSE 06 per reg no miles at £39,000.

You could try for a few extras at that price, for example I got roof bars, removable tow bar, rubber mats throughout, mudflaps & body side mouldings as part of the deal. If you don't ask you don't get etc.
I wouldn't beat myself up for paying £39k without any of the above though.

I recently brought a new 2.7 HSE from my local dealer for £39,750. This was not an end of Quater/month special, nor did they have the Colour/spec car I wanted in stock and had to souce it from the factory! I managed to get another £600 discount by taking out the LR finance (they give you £100 towards your deposit) and paying it off before the first installment was due!LR Discovery 3 2.7TD HSE
