Hi I got 50 spanners from screwfix for 50 quid absolutely rubbish just wondering what every one else is using or what the best deals are heard halfords tools are ok

Halford Professional have a decent range, just make sure you get a set that goes up to the
sizes on the Disco.

But don't pay more than half price; they have very regular sales, AND keep the receipt.
There's a lifetime warranty, but you must produce the receipt.

If spanners haven't got chrome vanadium stamped on them throw them in the rubbish bin, they'll usually end up there anyway and before you've run out of plasters.  It can when others can't,

the "modular trays" are 3 for 2 and trade card still works, just dropped an extra £20 off three picked at random. (so not quite 3 for 2 but still ok)
don't seem to include "professional" so perhaps Martin is right with the "sale coming soon" ?

I've got a bahco kit. Had it 4 years and not had any problems. It's got imperial and metric sockets and they are all 6 point 1995 Discovery 1 300TDI

Teng tools.
Had Teng Socket and spanner sets for years, quality and lifetime warranty.
As shown in wheeler Dealer and used by Ed China.
Cannot disagree about Halfords professional sets as i do have their socket and spanner setsand they are also good quality.

In a nutshell anything stamped with a name you recognise will be just fine for diy use.
Nowadays even a lot of the cheap stuff is quite good.
