Bittersweet news !!

Well, I got a call this afternoon from my dealer to say that my RRSport has arrived !!

I called over to have a look & it’s truly gorgeous. Very Happy

However while being totally over the moon, I must admit to feeling a little guilt & somewhat sorrowful about trading my D3. I’ve only had it a little over a year & like all the Discoverys that have passed my way over the years, this one hasn’t given me an ounce of trouble. Hence the sorrow & not having had it too long brings the guilt.

But jeez guys I just couldn’t resist the Sport.

So sometime next week I’ll have bid a fond farewell to “Zebadee” the Zambezi Disco 3.

But then I do get to say Hello to “??????” the Range Rover Sport !

I do though still have my old faithful & trusted friend, a 1995 300TDi, that I’ve had since new, which I will never ever sell. So it’s not a complete end to Disco’s for me. So hopefull you all won't turn your backs on me & oust me from DISCO3.co.uk Sad

Have fun mate !

And remember the RRS is the D3's little sister.

Use her properly, don't be a panzy with her - venture off road in it, and please, do not bling her up. She does not deserve it Wink

Cheers Simon.

Oh don’t worry, I’m putting the multi height hitch I have on the D3 on the Sport as soon as I get it. So it will have to tow for its keep. Smile

It’s tyres will most certainly get muddy as it won’t be spending it’s life in a Tesco’s car park.

Blinging is not a word in my vocabulary.

I’ve been telling the boys over on RRSport that the Sport is really a Disco 3 in a tuxedo. But I don’t think they were all that impressed with me. Rolling Eyes
