BL05 - RAI, rear mounted spare wheel - corrected!
Southbound on M1, midway between J15 and 14, just after 9am this morning...
I was doing the airport run - daughter is just finishing her Uni studies and is then into JLR on their Graduate Scheme, boyfriend (also in car) is at Bowler and we were just discussing how to solve the ugliness that is a D5 rear end when you hove into view...
Much discussion about the merits of the spare wheel mount and a thoroughly unusual ‘spot’D4 Commercial - 65 Plate, 2016MY
D5 Commercial - Handed back when I left that job…
D4 Commercial (2014MY) - gone
D4 Commercial SDV6 - Baltic Blue (also gone)
D1 300TDi... 2" lift, HD bumpers (both), detachable tow hitch, 9,500lb winch, 235/85/16 muds and plenty of other toys (gone to make way for the next toy...)
Smiles per Mile - Tornado Motorsports caged Evo 3... 100" Defender look-alike, with Range Rover running gear - all fully IVA'd and registered!

Sure it wasn't BL05. I was in that area about that time heading to MK. Yours a red D4?

Apologies, we were so busy blathering on about your D3 that I completely forgot the reg no and then jumped on here and searched ‘RAI’ and ‘spare wheel carrier’ to come up with a likely candidate...
Interested in how you’ve engineered the wheel carrier if you’ve done a thread at any time?
