I pull down and hold the washer stalk before hitting a monster puddle, it puts the wipers into instant turbo mode. Then pop back up to auto position when through the other side. I find auto too slow to react for the log-flume moments.


Apart from that, just follow the line on the sat nav until it finally clears

I find auto wipers on my D3 absolutely quick enough to react to water splash. Strange they are all different?

If you threw a bucket of water over mine, it would take a good second I'd say before they started to sweep and even then it probably wouldn't be on full speed initially. I keep sensitivity set somewhere between mid and high
