Blower problem.

Help!
There is air coming through the vents when there is no key in the ignition!
Also an instantaneous puff of air occasionally when the drivers door is opened but every time the key is turned on and also off.
Sat in the car when the air was coming through the vents and it went off after a while so I got out of the car , shut door then opened it again and the air started again !!!!!

Weird. I had the exact same issue last year on my D3. I have no idea why but It stopped doing it after a week. I'm sure these cars just have a laugh with the owners every now and again just to keep us on our toes! Hope it stops soon.

did you leave the sunroof open and get water into the climate switches ?

you could try changing the front fan relay under the bonnet (incase stuck closed) as its cheap and easy.
or swap the front and rear ones as see what happens. (both under the bonnet)

otherwise second hand switch panel or there is a wire trapped on the passenger side of car

p.s think this happened to one other person on here.
The truth is out there. But is the search engine batter than a 2.7?

Sounds a bit like this well known D3 problem to me.

https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/heater-blow...ht=blower.

Mine went a few years ago now, and my memory isn't what it was, but I think I was getting a puff of air when turning the ignition on.

It's really easy to replace the resistor pack, and it's not even very expensive.

Do a search for Blower, and tick the thread titles only box.
You'll find a few threads about it.

Nasher.

Allegedly search engines don’t snap cranks, they’re also free even if they break. Thumbs Up
