Bluetooth module replacement
With my Bluetooth issue still not solved http://disco4.com/forum/topic155377.html I was looking tonight on ebay for used Bluetooth modules and see here that a seller has a non sat nav version (what I need) with model number AH22-10D893.
When I search for AH22-10D893 on ebay I see loads of JAG /Freelander Bluetooth modules a lot cheaper and could potentially do the job - see here for point in case

Yes its a GS non Sat Nav.
Wondering if my fettling around a while back when adding new switches for heated seats has anything to do with the sound not coming through the speakers even with phone showing connected...

Hi Wiggs,
The diagnosis I used to program heated seats was initially a Nanocom and then when Bluetooth failed reset with IID and then updated values on that ... could that have a bearing do you think?Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

IID has a restore facility .. so you could of gone back to original settings ( to eliminate an incorrect CCF ) , but if you'd already changed something before you used it , not sure that will helpG4 Gone ...but not forgotten

yes reset through both Nanocom and then later on through IID after realising BT stopped working and then re-applied my xenon, seats, cc & tow ccf updates
So either there is something not plugged into the head-unit or I need a new GS head-unit with BT integrated - learnt something important tonight - thanks guys.
Do you know of the part number for a replacement head unit with BT and i'll get looking

Had another go at getting to the bottom of this Bluetooth issue of connecting but no sound over the weekend (and fit my new auto lights headlight switch) It all went back together without any left over screws too
As this issue is still not fixed with changing console back to original climate etc. I've now bought a 2nd hand replacement amp/cd/bluetooth unit from the 'bay that might be the cause - after that i'm stumped .
Next question: the red highlighted trim in the photo - the centre console kick panel if you like - does anyone know how I can get behind these? I can't see it in the manual anywhere and I want flip the drivers side one over to get at the god-awful after market front parking sensor unit that has been installed there so I can remove it

fixed
thanks for all the help on this thread (noticeably Wiggs and Beanie) to point me in the right direction for what part I needed.
I've now fixed this Bluetooth issue with the new amp/cd unit - all for the princely sum of £35
