I used fishing line to cut through the foam, worked perfectly and doesn't damage paint work. You can just rub the rest of the foam sticker off the bonnet.
I did put tape to mark the position of the old letters before removing them. Made lining up the new one's really easy.

To de badge, I used some floss (Colgate, left the hood minty fresh ), some soapy water and a hair dryer. The hardest part was figuring out the hair dryer.

In my gallery there is a picture showing the exact measurements for perfect refitment of the letters. I used thick cardboard guides taped to the bonnet, then applied the letters flush. Once you see the picture it will be clear. I also used floss to remove, and had to polish due to light fading prior to refitment.16 D4 Landmark
