Thoughts on gas locker floor

Noticed earlier my gas locker floor seems to have dropped as in photos.

Do we reckon this is likely to be serious or just a case of a bracket coming loose. I know it’s hard to tel but...

I may not have an answer, but where about is the locker located. Is it at floor level?

With the gas locker door open, try lifting the front of the caravan using the grab handle and see if there’s any movement. If so, there is the potential that the fastenings between the caravan body and floor have failed. Swift did have an issue with this. If so, it should be sorted under warranty. Even if it is just the gas locker floor, at two years old, it still needs sorting out.

We had an issue with a number of caravans at the Tow Car Awards with just that problem. Thankfully Swift were present at the event so could witness the failure for themselves and rectified/modified.

Yep, the gasp locker floor should be at the same level as van floor.

Thanks Nigel, did that test and it seems solid. It’s booked in but was trying to preempt their findings and see if it was common MY2023 Discovery 5 R-Dynamic 3.0
