I decided yesterday to do a bit of site promo and took the D3, completed with orange side stickers to Tong for the open day.
However, i now have a Check brake warning on the screen and my orange brake warning light is on the dash. This goes off when stopped totally and foot on brake but comes back on when pull away. So, every time i stop then start it "dings" at me and is f ing annoying.
1st thing - any one know what could be wrong, have i just damaged the wear sensor
2nd - can i temporary turn off the ding till i get chance to get sorted
or could there be a serious problem
Cheers

It it "Check Brake Pads"
If so, check your pads, or the sensor wire for grounding. If it is the pad warning, then no you can't switch it off and yes it gets to be a pain
