Are you using LR OEM bulbs or aftermarket ones from Halfords or similar? I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I was getting bulbs going like this, until i started getting the bulbs from the dealer, don't know why it should make a difference but it does seem to! Others have reported the same thing as well I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

i had the opposite..... brake bulbs (LR) kept blowing every few days. I got through about 10 !!!.
Replaced the last one with a Bosch bulb from Halfords and its been OK for the last 3 -4 weeks Duncan

my OEM Bulbs failed within weeks. Quality aftermarket replacements are fine...not blown one. MY07 D3, TDV6S; Bull Bar, Cooper S/T's, Dual Battery, UHF, GPS; 03 D2, 94 D1, both departed & 1950 S1 80" going strong. 06 Astra CDX Coupe.

I too was having the same issues
Brought a twin pack from Halfrawds and changed both at the same time, that was about 4 weeks ago.
I did notice when changing them that the filaments in the lamp when fitted in a D3 are vertical from looking at a couple of other vehicles in the street and my trusty old D1 it seems the norm to have the filaments hoizontal
Anyone any thoughts
