When you say "crank slipped" do you mean the timing belt/oil pump has failed, or the crank has snapped?

If it's the latter I'd say about £2k if even that, if it's the former it should be repairable but at a cost.

I wonder if the op means the crank shells have spun?

Sadly any D3 with a knackered engine is pretty much worth what you can sell the parts for, engine repairs/replacement will far outweigh the cars value.

That is too easy imho… if you have a good replacement engine with new bearingshells etc..
It can be worth it in the long term… if you like/need a D3…. Simply buying another is also a risk we all know Whistle

Then You have your answer from Profg….

But i am afraid that is the “profit” if you salvage / break it up yourself…
Trade/breakers price maybe a 1000 quid if you are lucky depending on mileage and quality of salvagble parts.

You can buy an ad here

or advertise it elsewere Thumbs Up

You'd be better served to buy an ad on this site where there is more likely to be genuine interest.
