Burning smell from D3

It's my wifes car so I rarely drive the car but she's been complaining of a burning smell when getting out of the D3.
I've just driven it and noticed the same. Smell like a burning clutch. Not really noticed it slipping but not really been looking for it. Smell was pretty strong. So much so my neighbour came to tell me he smelt it as I drove past.

Any ideas?
I've got 3rd party warranty. Likely something to be covered if it was clutch?

TIA
Gareth

If you're not noticing the clutch slipping, then it could be the Electronic Park Brake or a Brake Caliper sticking on. Is one of the wheels hotter than the others after it's been driven as that may give you an indicator of the problem further Thumbs Up
Or perhaps yoiu've had the brakes changed recently and it's just bedding in?

Car booked in for a service next week.
I'll take it for a spin and feel for heat.

Cheers
