Bury cc9060 hands free

Hi all,

Ive just been given a new Bury CC9060 hands free phone kit for my D3, it currently has a Parrot 3100, which never works properly, so...

simple question (i hope), if I take the Parrot out, can i use the interface cables that are from the Parrot for the Bury or do I need all new cables?

Ive looked at the auto leads web site and im just confused, will the Bury interface lead supplied with the ISO connectors fit with the Parrot stuff.

Im confused!

My stereo is the Hardon Karmon (not logic 7).

Thanks for any help/advice you can give.

Regards

Ringo

Aint a clue what a Bury is, but the correct interface leads for the Parrott kits is on the Parrott site, listed as Jaguar leads.

I have a Parrott CK3200, and works better than the LR option IMHO.

I second that, far superior than the current D3 hands free, however, it has to be correctly installed or say goodbye to the amp.......Get the correct leads and all will be well

Firstly Rich, they work ALL the time, correctly. And all you have to do is have the bluetooth on any mobile within the car for it to work. Pairing is easy, press on the mobile search for device, and Parrott kit/screen gives you the code, mine can have 10 pairings, more than seats available.

Upload pics to it, mine courtesy of COUNTRYWIDE has the LR logo, and fits in the interior well. When correctly installed it will manage the stereo, dim the music and one speaker in the drivers door will allow conversation. your mobile never needs to leave your pocket as the screen can access ALL on the phone incl texts.

Never had a LR kit, car has the buttons but did'nt use.

Well I'm sure it's great but TBH mac you need to remember that when you say something is far better than something else to other members...it really helps if you know that for a fact Wink There's nothing wrong with the current LR BT system Thumbs Up

Is'nt the parts for the CURRENT LR BT system hard to replace though Rich, no good when it goes and naffs up TBH, seen many probs on here bout it. Rather stick to the reliable Parrott, but thats my opinion, happy with what I have, and although I have the LR BT kit fitted to my HSE, I think its tosh and the mobiles required are no where near the current range of mobiles available, including my iphone 3g

Thought Baiting another member infringed the "SITE BEHAVIOUR AND TERMS OF USE" rules.

Is your signature not part of that the DG - Wink

Well I'm not going to diss the Parrot because it is a good aftermarket solution.

But as an integrated solution, the LR BT system holds it's own. Every phone I've had has connected every time ...most problems you read about are relative to issues with the handset rather than the LR kit. The 09MY software is quite sweet TBH.

BTW I'm glad you don't have a mocking problem ...I just couldn't bear to live without mocking TBH Wink Laughing

Shocked I can take it from you especially in the way you give it Rich. Like you say, they are both in a world of their own, I had problems from day one with my LR one, and rather that pay a fortune replacing bits, and/or my mobile, it was cheaper to go Parrott. glad I did.

So in one sentence, The Parrott is the BEST alternative to the Factory Fit Option, IMHO Thumbs Up

I have the bury cc9060 and used the generic parrot / jag cabling kit ok.

Still haven't got the bluetooth music player to work on it, but there are sw upgrades I haven't done yet. Fine as a handsfree though, and voice dialling is fine.

Any mods want to tidy this thread? Whistle
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
