Dash clock gone Pete tong

So, mine had the dash clock programmed into it which has been fine til i nearly killed the battery and now it says —:—

The centre console clock is fine so question is, can I do anything about this or does it need to be re programmed again?

Yes, with IID. I think it's the System Reset function but best wait until someone more knowledgable confirms. Thumbs Up

Just undo the battery leads and short them together for 30 seconds = hard reset Wink

no IID tool needed. Charge the battery up and then hold the pos and neg cables together (NOT ON THE BATTERY) for 20 seconds or so.

The ECUS just lose sync when the battery goes flat, so the hard reset sorts it out Thumbs Up

Leads after disconnecting from battery, not shorting out terminals, with socket bar or similar. IID route easier and cleaner.

IID does do a 'vehicle reset', but its not truely a hard reset, thats only obtainable by the removal of battery cables.

Hit it with a hammer 8)

Only joking, disconnected both terminals and connected the two together with a bit of metal for 30 seconds and all good Smile

Rolling with laughter

edit: actually, I shouldn't laugh. "lost" a spanner once when undoing stubborn battery terminal connections. quite dramatic.
