Buying my first LR!!

Hey everyone! Just a quick hello to the abundance of knowledge of the discovery haha
I’m Guy from the Isle of Wight, looking to buy my first discovery (4)
Currently put an offer down on this one.... (attached)









It’s a lovely car, not ‘mint’ but I’m not interested in mint Smile
2010 80k HSE TDV6

It has a slight knock from suspected Hydra bushes?? But it has 12 months transferable aftermarket warrantee Thumbs Up

I was originally after a green one, but came across this locally and instantly fell in love!
And obviously my girlfriend is very keen to roll in a disco

Going to buy a fixed towbar for it as we do a lot with horses

And I’m a boat builder and forever towing a trailer!

Let me know what you guys think, and also if there is anything I need to look out for

Nara Bronze if I'm not mistaken - clearly the best colour Wink
I can't offer much on help for things to look out for, other than 'is there a service history? and have the belts been changed yet? Thats due at 7 years. MY2012 D4 HSE Nara Bronze with some extra stuff

Yes Tam there is FSH... I will have to ask regarding the belts!! Thanks for that

Yeah belts and tensioners are first thing on the list followed by tow bar...

Do the crankshafts snap then??

Sh*t!! I hope there are some tell tale signs as it’s on it’s way out!
Hopefully it doesn’t just go BANG!

Yeah just waiting to pick it up

I’ve never owned a Land Rover before so it’s a nice change

I’ve had BMW X5 & X3 couple years back

And currently driving 2013 Ford Ranger

So a nice bit of luxury will do me nicely Smile

FINALLY PICKED IT UP YESTERDAY!!

Very happy boy now... just waiting for warrantee to exchange so I can get the bushes sorted for that knock on the front.

These things are quite over the top for extras ay??

Rear seat entertainment

Valet mode??

What the f*ck is valet mode? Haha

Anyway lovely to drive... I feel Royal Smile
