No amount of wiggling and or removing/refitting the connector solves the issue. So next step is to swap out sensor before trying to strip the connector or trace back along the wiring.
Fortunately I’ve the chance to get a sensor, but its a D3 one, does anyone know whether D3 & D4 height sensors are the same?LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Turns out there was a break in the wire in the main loom between the suspension ECU and where the main loom connects to the section of the loom that leads to the sensor - that section was fine as the sensor itself. All fixed now though, along with the front passenger door central locking actuator, all courtesy of Shukers LR in Ludlow who did their exemplary work as usual LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
