Nothing more needed than a Cadac and a Weber Jumbo Joe Smile

What a perfect combination.... I have to admit care is needed on a safari chef to ensure your sausages don't fall off the sides but aside from that it's great.

One challenge I currently have is how to grill sausages and bacon then turn it over for eggs without a. creating a mess and b. burning myself!!

Have got the pizza stone as well so a slow smoked roast chicken, tomatoes, etc., in the Weber then Cadac for the pizza stone and it all comes up a dream* Thumbs Up

*If I can work out how to stop burning the pizza bases! Embarassed

Cadac Carri Chef Deluxe here, have cooked on it in winds up to 6 bft, using the lid as a windshield. No problem.

Cadac for me......just come back from a week in Bude, I used it every day to cook brecky and dinner, the plates just wiped clean with ease, on the days it was windy i used the lid which attached to the side of the cooking area to keep the wind out, it worked a treat. Thumbs Up

I have the little Safari Chef - absolutely brilliant - I have the one that runs on the same canisters as the Jet Boil so I just keep a stock of one type of gas for both

I have just lost a leg off my safari chef Big Cry , so seeing if I can bolt it back, if not then it's either another safari chef or the carri chef....!

The COBB is more of an oven than a BBQ... But it is GREAT.... Fed a family of four for a week on one.. Takes a little planning, but anything from chicken curry to marshmallows is possible... Would never consider anything else

Cobb and Cadac are like chalk and cheese, no comparison at all, Cobb stays cold on the outside so you can cook on a table, as said it is more of an oven/slow cooker than a BBQ but with careful planning will easily serve up a roast dinner for 4 incl veg. You have to fart about with charcoal and lighting it on a Cobb, the cobblestone brickets they sell just about cook a dinner but not quite, you will not cook a whole chicken on one Coblestone.

The Cadac is gas and again is NOT a BBQ, it is a gas flame that heats various cooking pots / grill, very efficient, mine plugs into the exterior of my motorhome so very handy. So if you have access to gas it's great but don't for one minute pretend its a BBQ Wink

I have a Bio Lite which is a wood burner, it also charges my phone / iPad from the heat generated, I bout the grill attachment and big stainless Mug thing, but a load of fanning about lighting and feeding twigs into it, so now we just eat in restaurants, my days of living rough in a trench are long gone, I am more civilised now Laughing
