calibrating suspension with IIDTool

I have an IIDToolBT

I wanted to reset the heights to standard on my LR3 as each corner was a different height.

I went through the guided calibration, starting with FL, then FR, RR and finally RL adjusting the height until it matched the target.

I apply the setting and it says completed ok, but then I check the heights; the FL is now up at 485 rather than the 466 it should be at the fronts. All 3 other corners are the correct height. (466 front, 485 rears)

I try to drop the car to access height and I get the warning "suspension is in extended mode" and lifts back up again

Any thoughts on what to check or what could be wrong? faulty height sensor for the FR?

thanks

I'm pretty sure that what happened is normal...

the values that you read on the tool are not important, you have to re enter the calibration procedure, take the measurement of each corner with a ruler, than adjust the value on the tool adding or subtracting the right amount in mm that each corner need to be to level the car.

Remember that front measure is 465mm from the center of the rim to the perpendicular wheel arch and 485 mm for the rear. Idea

thanks

I dont mean the realtime values on the tool, I mean I read the "set the height to 465 / 485" instruction and went round raising or lowering each corner to measure those values.

Its just when i've applied what I think are the correct heights, and go back round to check the first wheel (front left) its now 485 from wheel centre to arch. Front right is 465 and both rears measure 485

if I raise & lower the car with the switch (or app) all four corners are able to move up and down, so there is control there.

In this case you have to calibrate only the front left corner clicking 20 times the down arrow while in "manual calibration mode", then save and apply modification

Make also a live reading of these values while running (tip: use graph mode) to verify that all 4 height sensors works aligned...
