Do you have a link to the awning you got? This looks cool.

You can definitely feel it up there and you would not corner at great speeds but at the end of the day they are not racing cars so with a little caution its fine Thumbs Up One thing to note it knocked about 5 to 6 mpg off my consumption. There are different RT,s out there and mine was one of the tallest and heaviest but there are also light ones like this. These are hard shell and low profile so are better for wind resistance and noise plus better fuel economy.
