I would imagine somebody would need to see the 2013 system first
I would like the personal POI functions that you load up via a usb stick but some how I doubt you will be able to upgrade Cheers Ian

Like the idea of uploading camera (speed) and CAMRA (pub) locations via gpx files.
Not like I have any idea how to do such a thing but I am sure someone on here will be brilliant at it!

Is this something that can be done to my D4 2012 then? I have a huge list of GPS coordinates for work that would be mega handy in my sat nav.... ive loaded the same to a hand-held garmin gps so it works in other formats.

I have the same question.
It will all depend on whether the hardware itself has changed, as opposed to bit just being 'software' or firmware.
It certainly is frustrating about the slow response of the system and the fact some of the features are far less refined that other vehicles. And now that the 2013 model has all the issues fixed, that's even more annoying. Especially on a £50k car!
Does anyone have the hardware and software versions from the system?

I went out to take a look at the versions on my 2013 LR4, but im not sure how to get into the diagnostics screens... anyone know?

I'll juist check, but I think you do the following:
- go to home screen
- press and hold VALET icon at top left for 20 seconds
- press 'Software Version Info'
My 2012MY says the following:
- Overall: 3309_110706
- FPGA: 0x0600D033
- Video: 0x00000000
- Board ID: 0x0000104A
To exit, press the Jaguar logo (top-right) or the home button.
The key will be the overall software version and the board ID.
