Can I decat my D4 v8?

Hi All,

As per the subject of this thread I'm pondering if it's worth it/possible to decat my D4 v8.

Any comments pro or against appreciated.

Regards,
William

You can indeed, and you will end up with a very growling V8 that will scare small children Rolling with laughter

You can should have it done by a reputable exhaust shop, like Powerflow. IIRC, the oxygen sensors from the existing cat will need to be installed in a 'mini-cat' to keep the fuelling optimal.

I don't think you will see any improvements in fuel consumption, but it sure will sound nice!
