cheers all, will keep you advised on our progress to find silver d3, up to May 2006 reg'd over the coming months, (why may 06 I hear u say, coz we can retro-fit our analogue tachograph whereas we would have to fit a digitial one, which of course you cant do in a D3!!!)

i can do the cruise switches but need to know what year you end up getting as colour change needs to be considered.
As TFC says, dealers can't enable the md as it's non standard upgrade which needs LR intervention which will not happen to make it work....
I'm sure with your coverage of the Uk that you will be somewhere close to TFC at some point v.soon TLO has left the building.......

hey big boy, you're back, just pm'd yer regards the bits and bobs that I've not paid for yet and the juddering gearbox issue, will keep you posted regards the search for a new one, have a word with your retail guys if they hear of anything, not desparate but not looking at a car you'd stick on yeovil forecourt, looking at a trader

My dealer fitted a cruise control to my 05 D3, everything works fine, except the light on the instrument display to say cruise control is activated cant be set to work, never bothered me. cost me €300 all in
