Haven't noticed any difference as regards power, although I am soon to get it chipped.
The economy has dropped by about 1 litre 100 Kms (around .3 MPG I think)

Sorry to keep going on about the tyres, but apart from raising the vehicle by a couple of centimetres, do you notice any difference in turning cirlce? indicated / real speed ? suspension travel and wheel arch rubbing ?

I need some new boots and I`m very close to opting for same size and type of tyre...

thanks

With the 265/70/17 tyres, speed/dist figures are out by about 4%, and the fuel consumption figures from the trip computer are out too (not that they were ever particularly accurate).

There is some rubbing at the front of the inner rear wheel arch (where there is a slight bulge in the pastic liner) - mine has rubbed enough to crack the plastic. But you need to be doing a lot of hard off-roading or high-speed towing on rough roads to get it to that condition.

Cheers,

Gordon

As Gordon said, my comments would be the same.

We rubbed a hole in the inner plastic guards on the rear but that would have been the extreme articulation over the dunes on the CSR
