"your car has been hit..... several times!"

So said the note on our windscreen which also added the cars make , model and reg'd no. So after I climb off the floor I begin to list the damage, which amounts to...... Nothing!
I can't believe that if a car reversed and 'shunted' the Disco several times there wouldn't be at least a mark to show but there's nothing at all, must have been a good samaritan who thought they'd seen impact or someone having a laugh and watching my reaction!

Funny somone should mention self healing body panels. Back in August some tw*t hit my offside rear at about 20mph. I heard it, stopped, he stopped, I told him he was paying for the fix (black scuff and light dent) and went on my way with his address etc. Later I used some Mer to clean the scuff and check the dent again- suddenly NOTHING at any angle in any light - NOTHING. Bizarre because I have an eye for the slightest niggling thing (very annoying). The car was definitely 'injured' from the hit but was completely perfect when I cleaned the scuff and no - I didn't imagine the small dent at the time. It must have popped out somehow but, boy was I happy. Lucky car??
