I used to have the fortunate opportunity to use my dads tecalamet (think it’s called that) 3 ton 2 poster in his garage but that is long gone now and I live in a different country too!
I have a big concrete floored barn but needs a turn to get in and straighten up in the disco so a 2 post won’t work without scraping against it.
My question is has anyone used the floor mounted scissor lifts with a D3? Is it even possible? 2006 tdv6 s Cairns blue

You can certainly get a scissor lift capable of handling a D3/4 as I've seen mine on one. Probably rated to 3t I expect, but that's a guess as I didn't check.
Very neat, especially if you set them into the floor as this one was. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

That’s the plan. We had to do some remedial work to the floor for the old ramp and added granite to the mix for the posts. I’d be looking to probably do a similar thing and recess the ramp level with the floor. Would be a handy tool and handy for my Aston because it doesn’t like normal ramps! 2006 tdv6 s Cairns blue
