I’ve no wish to poison the air that we all have to breath any more than I have to, to provide any excuses for ever tighter emission regs or put money into the pockets of organisations that make a living out of placing their customers in breach of construction and use regs. All for the possibility of a few more horse power. Really?!

How the tides has changed, when I bought my D3 3 yrs ago there were quite a few threads on decats and people raved about them, now everyone has jumped on the clean bandwagon, Im not saying people are fickle or believe everything they read!

One thing to bear in mind is trucks never had diesel oxidiation cats ever but now have everything.

I even bought a decat pipe, and after taking one look at them turbo nuts it has sat in the garage ever since Mr. Green

Interesting site with some good reading, incl scr/ad-blue etc, https://www.blackthorn.net/diesel-oxidation-catalysts/
