Change Headlights for Spanish MOT

Hello. I have a Discovery 3 with standard lights. I need to change to European side for my Spanish MOT. I have been quoted 2000 euros! Is it possible to buy second hand Xeron lights on ebay and fit them easily and change angle for europen? Or are there European style xeron lights different?

ISTR they are a different part for LHD cars, but should be be waaaaaaaay cheaper than €2,000!! Just a case of keeping a watch on EBay UK, ebay in Spain or put a Wanted thread here. Same shape and fittings etc, just plug and play. Thumbs Up

I have heard the suggestion that you just borrow a set just for the test from someone in Spain as an alternative. Whistle Whistle

If you have right hand drive Xenon lights currently fitted, there's a lever inside you can flick over to change the beam to left hand drive. Wink

Not sure what side of the road Mongolia drive on. Rolling Eyes

Isn't that only the adaptive xenons? I had non adaptable xenons on Dark Bluie and couldn't find any little lever. Thumbs Up

Still think a judicious swap of lights for the day is the way to go. Whistle Whistle

My Xenons are not adaptive (at least I don't think they are) but I found the lever, but not until I had taken the headlamps out of the car and looked really closely inside, even then, once lamps back in the car I could not find the lever to change back once home Big Cry
