Changing the sound of the engine

Hi all,

I got this idea for a long time, but did not come up with a good solution yet.
I'd love to get a more "fat" sound of the engine.
A sound like you can hear it's a V6 engine.
A bit like the nice V8

Any idea's on how to get this?

thanks

hmmmm saw it...

Not my thing, I'm glad you can't see the exhaust, and the way I use the D3, that solution would only live 1 month Wink

It got to be something near to invisible and not getting lower than it is now

why not just use the same system and not fit the tail pipes ? not that i have had any worries or problems with them, are you saying that you treat your D3 worce than mine Laughing

why do you say they would only last a month ?

well....
seen on the scratches I now have at that place of the bumper, and I already lost somewhere the shield between spare wheel and exhaust, I really don't think they last long there Smile

Penguin, I don't think you'll find anything that beats the soiund of Chris's exhaust. Just a touch short of a full V8grunt sound.
And as for not lasting, The things I've seen him tackle in his D3 Shocked Shocked you shouldn't have any worries Thumbs Up

Chris, are those selfmade?

Can you give some more info?

Problem for Belgium is also that I must make sure it looks original Neutral

Laughing

I've been looking at JE and prices, but to be honest, paying over £600 or €1000 or $800 is a bit over the edge just for having an other sound Wink

well, since original all is in one piece, I'll need the complete set. (muffler and tubes)

Anyone knows what the last 2 (left and right) mufflers are?
