grab an old mouse pad:

xacto knife and glue two parts, as the glue dries, the union gets strong and the joined part get stiff. glue as parts as you need to get the measure of the original rods hole deep.

make a hole at your desired position (or holes as you want your car height, here one original and other to try if this runs ok) with the hole plyers:

you have a sooo cheap suspension rod.

Test results:

NO problems at all. 4x4 screen shows correct height and movement as per road ondulations and car movements, no sticking movements, all ok.

(for the twisted ones, just glue one end, twist and glue in the twisted position.)

not a beauty, is a ghetto solution, i know, but if you broke a rod in the bush (or a car washer place man with a karcher brokes it with the tip trying to clean mud getting mad moving the lance into the wheel arch Evil or Very Mad) you could get stuck and this could get you out of the problem if you have it.

Normal height:

85 mm front
115 mm rear

If you want to go down, the do the hole at more distanxe than the oem one (90, 95, 100,....for example)

And if you want to do up, then they must be shorter (80,75,70.....)

The increment and decrement of 5 mm is arbitrary. If you want to go 7 mm you could. Matter of punch it up or down the mm you want.

In my car, +10mm get it lowered about 20 to 25mm.....more movement at the rear.

Thumbs Up
