Okay, so it's three days old, so it needs a wash and the only way to truly get to know your car is to get down and personal with a Meguiars mitt and quality shampoo...
This truly is a big car! even with steps I struggled to reach the middle of the roof, even in the weak March sunshine it was a race to dry it before it left smears...it's going to cost a fortune in MF clothes and if one more neighbour stops and want to talk about the lovely contrast of almond leather against buckingham blue bodywork and don't the piano black end caps give it class I'm going to throw my £35 polish at them!
I have started a nervous twitch of walking over my neighbours gardens to see the best angle to view my by now very polished D3, and then using the remote to turn the xenons on in the twilight..........after dinner I choose to go out and just sit in it and soak up the atmosphere of brute capability against soft leather and heated seats...
I have now started to peer through the dining room curtains to make sure it's still there proud and and gleaming, something five Audi's never did.......
One question though..............is it best to have ones Disco3 orange sticker in the front nearside windscreen towards the top or the rear window...........

mine is in the garage with its own carpet wouldnt want it to get wet or cold
I get the subtle impression that cleaning is not top of this forums list.....You have to indulge me, never had a car that I had to climb into the boot just to put luggage in, nor one that makes my tax disc worth more than my neighbours car!

Just a tip when drying - use a slow stream of water from a hose for the final rinse, rather than rinse with your jetwasher, this leaves much less water on the bodywork and spray on some Meguiars Last Touch as you dry it to prevent any smears and enhance the shine. Works for me. Badda bing.......How you doin'?

You can also use Dodo Juice 'Time to Dry' which is superb as a drying aid. Spritz onto the car when wet and either use open ended hose or a skoosh with the pressure washer and see the remaining water sheet off the car. Another light spritz and work your way round with a drying towel for an easy smear free finish.

Have waxed the car a few times now to hide the bramble rash and it takes forever as its such a big motor. Only problem i have now is the white wax marks on some of my plastic trim . It does take ages.....I spent most of Thursday washing and then polishing it with the spray detailer, and haven't even had chance to hoover out the inside yet!
If only it stayed this shiny for longer.....

Had mine in for service.....great job including wash and valet....but this morning I noticed a water mark on the bonnet
