Clockspring and Airbag Light

Bloody clocksprings, why can't they last.

At 220K miles I'm in the position now of needing my third one since I brought the car in 2010 with 87K on it. They've all been Genuine LR ones, and aren't cheap.
In my ownership that's and average of only @44K miles each.
All three have been the airbag circuit.

The airbag light is on, and the Nanocom is showing fault B0002, Drivers Front Stage 2 Deployment Control.

If I cancel the fault code(and Light) I can start the car, let it idle for as long as I like, even drive it backwards and forwards in a straight line, but the moment I turn the wheel to the left the light comes back on and the fault code reappears.

I have tried the underseat cables and connectors, but it seems quite obvious to me what the issue is, again.

Nasher.
Heaven doesn't want me, and hell is afraid I'll take over.
