Nice one. Just make sure that the SatNav disc is the up to date one.
It should be the Sept 2005 version 13.
Get ready for that perma smile.

I was thinking about the nav disc. Also the software on the ECU; how do you check that?
And the new car will be disappearing shortly after handover as my lovely wife has daily use of our car. I have to hoon-it back to the office on my bike Discovery 3 Manual as PDF | Blackvue 500 | BAS Remap | Mates did South America in a Landie

To check the Satnav disc its a simple case of moving the passenger seat forward (as per instruction book) and ejecting the Disc itself.
The disc will have the version and year written on it.
Ive just had it confirmed that my March 06 HSE came with the wrong Disc and they are giving me a new up to date one. See my thread for details.
Even easier is to look at the part number sticker on the back of the case which dealers normally leave in the carThe End

The operate whilst moving thing is a 2007 model year update. I have not heard that it will be applicable to previous model years though. I hope it is though.

First Impressions:
I don't speed anymore! In fact, I enjoy being in the slow lane (which is very relaxing )
The lights when they turn with the steering are absolutely wicked.
My missus' XDA2 won't connect to the BT handsfree phone
I went offroad as I live on a hill by some farmland. HDC is cool too.
You don't have to drop it to access-level to get it in my garage But it was fun to go up and down... Discovery 3 Manual as PDF | Blackvue 500 | BAS Remap | Mates did South America in a Landie

That's what I find. I used to scoot along and try to make good progress, especially when others were up my chuff, but now I cruise along, relaxed enjoying the comfort and justify some of my slower driving down to "that's what everyone expects from a 4x4" but it's good to know that if you want to, it'll give quite a few things a fright on my favourite 'B' roads
