Coloured Wax....any cop?? |

got a few laquer scratches in the java paintwork....(Next doors bloody cat!!!) are any of the 'coloured' waxes any good for this.......(the car... not the cat, I've a much better remedy for the cat!!!)

My brother in law used the Halfords coloured wax and was chuffed with the result on his wifes black fiesta, I was impressed too considering the age of the car. I used a blue one and thought it was useless.
Must be the shade as the blue I was trying to restore was fairly light metallic.

I used it on the Merc to cover up stone chips, make sure you use the wax stick first though. It takes AGES, but the result was a real transformation.
It was Obsidian Black metalic.
The only problem with them, is that it is purely a cosmetic covering and you have to go through the same process on a regular basis. Bodsys Brake Bible

Simple test run your fingernail over the scratch if it clicks you need help from the pros if you can feel it it can be mopped out "pros only" or you will do more harm than good anything eles and the colour stuff is magic (sorry)

DD I have successfully removed light bush scratches using only the Autoglym "dark" polish.....it also removed all the swirl marks from the paint...... end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

cats are so clean....my , they are covered in cat saliva!.......don't get me started on domestic moggies.....now big cats, thats a whole different ball game, however don't think a panthers scratches would polish out!! 2007 HSE Java Black.....sold

as per other thread ... where i reckon it's the Autoglym Lifeshine coat that's showing up the sctratches - not the paintwork.
On holiday this coming week with tintent - taking black colour polish with me to wax D3 when bored.
Aberfeldy ... here I come .... stock up with the malts!!! I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
