Communication errors- causing no acceleration

Please read between the lines for my observations.
I have already reefed out 200 superfluous audio cables and cleaned well under the central switches. There was only a small amount of fuzzy sugar.
Theses errors only occur when it is humid but when we owner Sturm's off ignition and on again the Disco operates normal
Maybe it has happened to somebody else.

I have not been able to trace any of these. If I remove the errors right now, they won't come back till the client picks up the car

He has a small brewery and I really want to stay on good terms
Thumbs Up

Fixing LR problems very far from Solihull.
That's why my newest car is a 1999 Disco 2 V8 with 285.000 miles

The problem is the missing documentation, not the LR

+1 on the brewery bit.
The "U" codes are information codes and occur when a problem stops the buss communicating so can be disregarded. Other codes are the ones to check. I would first check that your battery is in good order then check if the ground connections are good.
I would then check wiring to the compressor etc as that is the only 'real' fault

C1A13-64 for me was a leaky air tank - https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/c1a2064-sus...t=C1A13-64

You are right about the communication errors- thing is this has occurred without the gallery vent error.

He can't accelerate, the gearbox stays in 3rd or 4th he says.

The battery is as good as it gets in CR. Won't do any harm to look at the transfer earth.. although I cleaned that last year

I have had it with oxidation in the valve !

So your experience is very valuable, certainly didn't think of that

Update

So on Friday the client explained that it only happens on his way to the brewery after exactly 12 Kms. It only happens on days with high humidity. He slows down, the gearbox doesn't shift down and then he can't re- accelerate unless he stops the car.
Since he was adamant about the humidity I convinced my friend Octávio to drive the Disco while he was having another car realigned.

I said I know a few spots where we can guarantee humidity. He does , too.

We drive the Disco through 4 different streams and rivers, accelerate, drove dead slow, reaccellerated but no new error but the radio and some message about his key battery.
You can see here how all the relevant ABS and suspension sensor behave while driving through water and potholes.

After 2 hours Octávio collected the pickup, I drive the pretty humid Disco to the brewery and couldn't report anything but all sensors work fine and it didn't play up.

Had our beers and he says well what if my gearbox ECU plays up like my transfer ECU did.

Now this one was literally burnt inside and still didn't produce an error.

Weird. I will look at the air tank. But I don't see how it keeps the gearbox from shifting.
