I did the Land rover half day course here just before xmas using a D3 auto and I have to say it was awsome.
I served my time as Mechanic but don't do much now because I left the trade, and I have driven all the other old Land rovers off road, I did thousands of miles in one as a Breakdown truck, my youngest brother still has a long wheel base Safari one, but after seeing what the D3 can do off road the new D3's are in a league of there own.
Had a great time and the instructor was great, even the wife had a go and loved it.
I know this was only scratching the surface of the cars capability but it was well worth it and I learn't somethings as well.
