coolant bleeding

Good morning- I've been changing only the top housing part n.4624378 of the termostat, where the termost sits. everything went fine, but I noticed I did not lose a lot of coolant and therefore just topped up a bit. however, now, perhaps as I opened the top of the coolant, the coolant level is higher than normal, in the bottle. What do I need to do? do I need to bleed, wait, or ...? any help is appreciated, thanks.

I think I just filled mine to the mark, opened both bleed screws and kept filling until coolant came through and ran it, dont remember it being difficult.

Did you bleed it with the engine running?

I’ve just replaced my reservoir and without the engine running nothing will come out of the engine bleed screw Confused

Tank replacement doesn't really require bleeding

I clamped the bottom hose but the clamp wasn't the best so it let quite a bit of coolant out.

According to the Haynes manual coolant should run out of the bleed port but I was getting nothing!

Confused
