Cooler D3

I got a cooler and have installed it the switch works does it only go green or does it go blue and the fan runs perfectly but my query is I know it runs after the key is removed but for how long does it switch off once the vehicle electrics go to sleep or does it constantly run indefinitely until the battery goes dead
If it moves and it shouldn't duct tape it, if it doesn't move and it should walk away and get a big hammer

the blue one is the D4 version. Doesn't get quite as cold but does turn off with the ignition... handy if you're a bit forgetful Laughing

I thought the blue one was the D3 version. It's what came in mine from new.

Can confirm if you forget to turn of the cooler on a D3 it will flatten the battery

Although SWMBO still swears she didn’t turn it on when the car was parked at the airport

Mine doesn't flatten the battery when left on. And mines left on permanently. I think the D4 ones will kill the battery when fitted to a D3
