Correct oil?

Changed the oil recently in my 2010 3.0 TDV6 I used shell helix (normally go for magnatec) now on start up I get a ticking noise like the oils not getting somewhere quick enough? Anyone else used helix and have the same? Should I be changing to something else right quick?

that's the correct oil there supposed to rattle for a second or two on start up maybe you had a problem before with the wrong oil fitted do you know what was fitted before

I am assuming you used a genuine oil filter ??

It's normal, is the time needed for the oil to reach the hydraulic valve lifters
