Correct oil?
Changed the oil recently in my 2010 3.0 TDV6 I used shell helix (normally go for magnatec) now on start up I get a ticking noise like the oils not getting somewhere quick enough? Anyone else used helix and have the same? Should I be changing to something else right quick?

that's the correct oil there supposed to rattle for a second or two on start up maybe you had a problem before with the wrong oil fitted do you know what was fitted before
I am assuming you used a genuine oil filter ??please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick,thankyou

correct oil, so I would check the oil filter if you changed that and check the oil level and sump plug

Cheers all, I fitted a Mann filter from ecp any good? Sump plug and oil level are good, it had comma ecolife in it going by the receipts I got with it

Mann filters are reputable.

enough said ^ change your oil every six mths/5000mls and all should be good what your now hearing is how its supposed to sound (think its mentioned in the handbook)please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick,thankyou
