| Cost of a 32,000m "B" service |
|
Hello, I need some advice.
I have been quoted £602 for a "B" service, 32,000milies on my D4 ...
That seems a little steep to me, but not being technical, I would'nt have a clue how much it should cost.
Am I being taken for a ride, or is that the going rate for a L/R dealer service?

Just had mine done 2 weeks ago and the going rate on local quotes was around the £550 mark.
But then again that's oop north [North Yorks].
But I got a very special deal = £0  I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Sounds very very expensive. I had a B service done last year at stratstone and the cost was £275 incl. A service was £225 inclusive. All on a D3 mind you. I bought the 7 year big one and a furture B and A service for £1010 all in. Thats 599 for the big service and just over £200 per service for the next 2

To be fair, working in manchester and living in yorkshire I had a choice of leeds, huddersfield, Halifax, Bury, Manchester and Knutsford. rang them all and played them against each other until I got the cheapest price

Looking at the Wiki the only real differences between the first A and B services are changing the fuel filter and checking suspension bushes etc so surely there shouldnt be a huge difference in cost between the A and B

At end of June this year, Harwood's Tonbridge charged £538.78 for 32000Mls "B" under 3 year service plan (paid by monthly installments).
Includes wash & vac + courtesy car if needed. LRD4 HSE Ipanema Sand/Arabica trim
