Cradles on Mobile phone on 07 Spec HSE arriving 1/3/07 ? |
|
Hiya all
Just wondered if anyone has got a list of the cradles that Land Rover can fit for mobiles phones to enable the mobile to be charged in the car as well as connecting up the the Bluetooth connection.Going to get my wife a new mobile for Xmas so it may as well be compatible with a Land Rover Cradle (Ideally nokia or samsung). Her new HSE,will arrive arrive early 07 and its a surprise for her.Hopefully she will then let me out the pub more that once a week !!!
Thanks in anticipation
Tony

You can find the list on the Land Rover web site; possibly in the down loadable manuals. I will look the link out when I have a few more minutes.

This link gets you to the page where you can select the document, but on my laptop here I can't get it to open. Hope you have better luck on your computer.

Anyway the route to it is via Owner Information.

Yes very pleased with it but early days to make any predictions. I did not have any "gremlins" with the 2005 vehicle. Just a few of the software glitches we all had but nothing show stopping. I would expect they have it sorted but just as importantly the dealers are more aware of what they are handling; think much of that comes from reading this web site
Great vehicle by any standard and I have tested the competition. The non cradle phone link works well via Bluetooth with my Nokia 6280.

Thanks for that.Really looking forward to the car arriving and Im sure my wife will enjoy it.We did look at the RR Sport but I think the disco is that bit more practical with 2 young children and all that entails.I also wondered if LR would drop a V8 in the Disco soon, but I think if they do they will hike the price considerably, just as they have done on the Sport.Got a LR off road experience booked at Ledbury in early Jan' for us both and some friends-never done any type of off roading before so I'm sure it will be a laugh for us both

Hi guys, is this a private conversation or can anyone join in??
re V8 in Discovery3, there always has been one, it's a 4.4ltr and YES, the price is considerably higher...5k more!! I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Hiya-no private conversation here Buddy !!!!!!!
V8 petrol very true !!! I think if they pop the Diesel v8 into the Disco it will push the price North of 50k.Managed to get my HSE 07 spec with 5k off in total with a extras.I know the Dealer Principal locally.Im not sure Diesel V8 would warrant the extra dough. Some people seem to think the 07 spec has had a few tweaks under the Bonnet as well..heres hoping.........!!!!

Sorry didn't realise you meant the V8 diesel, yeah I think it would be great if they got that in the Disco3. But I'm sure I heard that there were no plans to do so- I'm sure one of our more learned members will advise on that shortly. But I agree if they did it sure would put the price way up.
Good deal on your D3...as they say it's 'who you know'.. well done. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
