As DSL asks more details please. Have you recently bought the car?
You say "JL" have washed their hands of it. Was this the local JLR dealer, or customer services?
Others with a full JLR service history have had some help from JLR, so don't give up.

This has to be a sickener for anyone. Seems to be getting frequent.
