when in gear 1st and second..there is a getting quite loud now groan creak sound(comes through vents) atabout1500rpm...i guess its to do with the locking torque converter but.not sure.
does it both up and down..no shuddering or other symptomskust noise..sounds like an old creaky clutch operating.
any ideas?tests?
had quite a long journey a month back and it went away, but now isback..with avengence..

ok so on further investigation..noise also appeared on start up.A few things cycle on start up, one of which is the actuator for the primary turbo...a bit crawl under and a spray in that direction with wd40 and creak/groan has gone for now. It is better to have and not need it then need and not have it.
