Hi there, and welcome! You need to get the cruise "enabled" in the CCF so that the car knows it now has cruise fitted. You will have to find a local independent garage who does Landrovers and has the necessary equipment to do the programming or do a shoutout on here as there are various members who can help with programming etc for a fee. An unlocked Gap tool, Nanocom or similar is needed to do the work. Good luck!

Hi Dondiddy, I am in the processing of buying a 2007 Manual D3 S and wanting to fit a few little HSE mods to it. Do you know if the above also applies to cars fitted with a manual gearbox with regards to the cruise control, or does the "plug and play (+nancom)" with the cruise functions on a HSE steering wheel only work when being fitted to cars with auto 'boxes?

Hi there, Sorry for the late reply! I am not sure about the manual car as to whether it is "plug and play" or not. It might need (or not) such extra bits like a clutch switch in order for it to work. I`m sure that it is doable but might need more than just the steering wheel switches and the ccf configuration. Hopefully someone who has done it can confirm what is needed to get it working! Good luck!

Thanks Dondiddy! I know the manual has a xyz switch to tell it which gear it's in for the terrain response system, so fingers crossed it doesn't need anything more than the wheel and ccf, but might just end up with some cruise control buttons for display if not!
